2019 Outdoor: All-CAC Second Team … Qualified for AARTFC Championships in the long jump … Ranked 14th in the region in long jump with a 6.90 meter leap at Susquehanna … Three individual first-place finishes and one relay win … Part of second-place 4x100-meter relay (42.85) at the CAC Championships … Took fifth in the 100 (11.33) after posting a career best 11.05 in prelims at CACs … Won the long jump (6.66 meters) and 100 (11.07) at the FSU Bobcat Invitational.

2018-19 Indoor: USTFCCCA All-Mideast Region in long jump … First Team All-CAC in both long jump and 100-meter dash … Captured CAC Championships in the long jump (7.02m) and the 100 (7.14) … Totaled seven wins on the season … Won the long jump in five-straight meets; at Marietta, WVU, Bucknell, Susquehanna and at the CACs … Swept the 60 (7.03) and long jump (6.44m) at the West Virginia University Open … Capped the indoor campaign with 6.88 meters in the long jump at the AARTFC Championships … Helped the 4x200-meter relay team to a win in 1:34.05 at Marietta.

2018 Outdoor: Qualified for ECAC Championships in long jump and 100 three times each … Competed in the long jump at CAC Championships … Posted FSU’s fastest 100 and farthest long jump of the season … Leaped career-best 7.08 meters in long jump at Shippensburg … Placed eighth in long jump (6.80 meters) at ECACs … Took first in the long jump (6.93 meters) and second in the 100 with a season-best 11.12 at Messiah … Finished third in the 100 (11.66) and fourth in the 200 (22.99) at Mary Washington … Part of team-best 4x100 effort (44.05) at Gettysburg.

2017-18 Indoor: Qualified for ECAC Championships in 60, 200 and long jump … Took fourth in the 60 (7.10), seventh in long jump (6.48 meters) and eighth in the 200 (23.17) at CAC Championships … Placed first in the long jump (6.48 meters) and qualified for ECACs in the 60 (7.12) at WVU Open … Took second with a season-best 6.58 meter long jump at Susquehanna … Took seventh in the 60 (7.43) and set a career-best (7.06) in the prelims at ECACs … 10th in long jump (6.33 meters) at ECACs.

2017 Outdoor: Second Team All-CAC ... Captured second place in the 4x100-meter relay at the CAC Championships (43.08) ... Earned a spot at the ECAC Championships in 4x100-meter relay ... Helped the 4x100-meter relay team to back-to-back wins at the Bobcat Invitational (43.81) and the Messiah Invitational (43.31) ... Won the long jump at the Bobcat Invitational (6.56 meters) and the Jim Thorpe Classic at Penn State (6.50 meters) ... Collected second place in the 100-meter dash (11.48) at the Bobcat Invitational.

2016-17 Indoor: Registered five top-five finishes in the long jump ... Posted wins in the long jump at the Marty Pushkin Classic at WVU (6.37 meters) and the SU Challenge at Susquehanna (6.66 meters) ... Took seventh place in the long jump at the ECAC Championships (6.74 meters) ... Captured third in the long jump at the CAC Championships (6.71 meters) ... Won the 60-meter dash (7.23) at the WVU Open and helped the 4x200-meter relay team to a win at the Marietta Alumni Open (1:33.73).

2016 Outdoor: Posted 10 top-10 finishes ... Won the long jump (6.69 meters) and took fourth in the triple jump (12.60 meters) at the Bobcat Invitational ... Earned a win in the long jump (6.51 meters) and captured third in the triple jump (12.07 meters) at the Bison Invitational at Gallaudet ... Finished runner-up in the LJ (6.88 meters) at the Slippery Rock Last Chance Meet ... Took home 11th at the ECAC Championships in 6.30 meters in the long jump ... Helped the 4x100-meter relay team to 17th place at the ECAC Championships (42.82) ... Opened the season with second place in the 4x100 at the Juniata Invitational (43.57).

2015-16 Indoor: Posted ninth in the long jump (6.0 meters) at the CAC Championships ... The 4x200-meter relay team captured eighth place (1:38.21) at the Crusader Classic at Susquehanna.

Prior to FSU: Earned eight varsity letters at Saint Johns Catholic Prep; three in outdoor track & field, two in basketball, one in soccer, one in indoor track and one in lacrosse … Earned 2013 & 2014 Viking Award for outdoor track & field … Indoor track & field senior award in 2014 … Personal: Son of Christian Nelson and Winifred Smith … Majoring in exercise and sports science.
