Tyler Campbell enters his second year as a graduate assistant coach with the Frostburg men's basketball team in 2017-18.
 
In ’16-17, Campbell helped the Bobcats to seven wins (7-18), while they led the nation in blocks per game (5.8) and finished seventh nationally in total blocks (146). The Bobcats also finished 17th in Division III in field-goal percentage defense (39.8), 19th in offensive rebounds per game (14.6) and 25th in total rebounds per game (42.24).
 
The Bobcats capped the season by upsetting No. 11 Salisbury 86-80 in overtime on senior day.
 
Campbell was a two-year member of the Bobcat men’s team in 2013-14 and 2014-15 and appeared in 50 games with 20 starts.
 
During his career, he totaled 251 points, 235 rebounds, 23 steals and 19 blocks for the Bobcats. He finished second on the team in rebounding as a junior and was third as a senior.
 
He graduated from Frostburg in May ’16 with his bachelors degree in exercise & sport science.
