A legendary coach and supporter of Frostburg State University Athletics, Jim Crawley rejoined the Bobcat football staff in 2010.

Crawley served as the football program’s head coach for seven seasons from 1968-74 and is the school’s all-time winningest coach with 33 victories. Crawley coached 17 Frostburg State Hall of Fame selections including Bob Maddox, who was drafted by the NFL’s Cincinnati Bengals in 1972.

Despite his coaching success on the gridiron, Crawley constructed one of the nation’s winningest women’s basketball programs from 1978-2001, as the Bobcats posted an incredible 406-188 overall record. The Bobcats enjoyed 20 straight winning seasons, recording 18 or more wins 13 times and 20 or more wins eight times. Crawley guided Frostburg State to six NCAA Tournaments, including two Sweet 16 appearances and seven ECAC Championships, including four South Region Titles.
