COLONIA, N.J. - Junior defender Ryder Walter was named the ECC Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday. 

Walter led FSU's defensive effort in a 24-2 win over Malone with a team-high three caused turnovers to go with five groundballs. He helped limit MU to just 12 total shots and only 7 on target, while also providing an assist offensively.
