BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - Senior Gracie Nelson and sophomore Izabella Donaldson were named MEC Co-Player and Co-Pitcher of the Week, respectively, presented by The Health Plan, as announced by the league office Monday. 

As FSU went a perfect 6-0 in the week, Nelson batted .545 while scoring 12 total runs. She had two hits in every single game and tied her career-high twice with three runs scored in both contests against Ferrum. 

Donaldson recorded three wins in the circle while also recording seven RBI at the plate. She threw 13 total innings, allowing 9 hits and 5 earned runs while striking out 14 batters. While hitting, she had a pair of 3-for-4 games against Ferrum and West Virginia Wesleyan, totaling two home runs and two doubles while also scoring 5 runs.
