WEST BABYLON, N.Y. – Frostburg State Men's Lacrosse had three players receive ECC Honor Roll after their opening game on Saturday against Walsh, with seniors Seamus Kearney, Gregg Dort Jr., and Alex Walstrum earning the honors.
Frostburg opened their season on the road Saturday, falling to the Cavaliers by a score of 13-8. Kearney racked up a team-high four caused turnovers on the defensive effort, along with four ground balls and a goal. Dort and Walstrum led the face-off attack for the Bobcats, with the former taking 12 of his 14 face-off attempts for an 85.7% in the X, while also taking six ground balls and knotting a goal, while the latter went 100% from the X going 10 of 10 on his attempts, also seeing nine ground balls and an assist.
