BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - Redshirt sophomore Mandy Roman received her first career MEC Women's Basketball Player of the Week honor, presented by The Health Plan, as announced by the league office. 

Roman helped FSU to a 69-61 victory over UDC with an all-round performance of 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. She set a career-high with five offensive rebounds, as she also went 7-of-8 at the free throw line in helping to close out the game late on.
