BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - Sophomore Julie Spinelli was named to the Women's Basketball All-MEC First Team on Monday, as announced by the league office.
Spinelli finished as FSU's leading scorer and was third in the conference at 17.9 points per game, while also averaging 7.4 rebounds. The Pittsburgh native shot 44.3% from the field and led the Bobcats with 45 made three-pointers and 121 free throws, where among qualified players she was second in the MEC at 84.6% from the line.
