FROSTBURG, Md. - The Frostburg State Football team was among the teams listed under consideration by the first NCAA Regional Ranking of the 2025 season.
FSU currently sits atop the Mountain East Conference with a 7-1 overall record and a 5-1 mark in MEC play. Joining them from the conference in the rankings is Charleston (WV), who along with Glenville State are both 0.5 game behind the Bobcats in the MEC standings. The Bobcats are the only MEC team to be ranked in the national polls, appearing at No. 24 in the AFCA poll and 25th according to D2Football.com.
The initial set of rankings is listed alphabetically, as next week the teams under consideration will be ranked on merit from 1-10. The full list of teams is put below, and the full release of all regions can be found
