MANHEIM, Pa.- The National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has unveiled the 2024 NCAA Division II Men's Team Scholar All-America top 25 team rankings, as well as individual Scholar All-America honors.

In their first season competing at the Division II level since resurrecting the program, Frostburg State Men's Wrestling had four athletes recognized with the distinction, given to athletes sporting at least a 3.5 GPA and having competed in at least four days of competition. Freshmen Zach Alkhatib (3.71), Duncan Kammar (4.0), Mark Matysek (3.57), and Austin Slaybaugh (4.0) were the Bobcats selected, becoming the first Scholar All-Americans for the program.

A total of 363 individuals from 61 institutions were honored as Scholar All-American, marking the most institutions and individuals honored in the history of the award. Kammar and Slaybaugh were both among a total of just 39 athletes that have earned a perfect 4.0 GPA.
