BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Frostburg State Women's Basketball senior Emilee Weakley was named MEC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season, as the award was announced on Monday by the league office and is presented by The Health Plan. 
 
Weakley helped carry Frostburg to two huge conference wins this past week with a strong 73-57 road win over Charleston (WV), and a dominant 98-73 home win over West Virginia State.  Weakley led all scorers against the Golden Eagles with 23 points on 10-for-22 shooting from the floor, while also racking up six rebounds, four assists, and three steals.  In the Bobcats first-ever win over the Yellow Jackets, Weakley dropped a season high 40 points, shooting 14-for-24 from the floor and 10-for-11 from the free throw line.  Weakley also saw four rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
