Set number two started off back and forth before Shaw took an 8-3 lead. A kill from junior AJ Thompson brought the Bobcats within four, before the Golden Bears scored five straight points for a 13-4 lead. Delor dished out another assist for another Thompson kill, to bring the score to 14-6, but Shaw went on another run, jumping out to a 12 point lead. FSU earned points off some Shaw errors, two massive blocks, and kills by senior McKaily Thomson-Moran and Larkins, but dropped the second set 25-14.

FSU found themselves down again early on, with Delor dishing assists out to freshman Maddie Lewis and Thomson for a 4-3 score. Braun smacked a kill before Delor was credited with a kill as well, bringing Frostburg within one.
