BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - Freshman forward Emilee Weakley was again named the MEC Women's Basketball Player of the Week, presented by The Health Plan, as announced by the league office.
In two Bobcat wins over Alderson Broaddus and Notre Dame College, she averaged 35 points and 10.5 rebounds across the two games, including scoring a career-high 39 against the Battlers. Weakley currently leads the MEC and all of Division II in scoring average at 25.0 points per game, while also averaging 10.3 rebounds per contest.
