MOUNT OLIVE, NC – The Frostburg State Women's Wrestling team traveled to North Carolina for the Trojan Duals on Sunday, coming away from the tournament with a 1-3 record.

Freshman Jada Fowler earned FSU's first individual win of the day, a 12-8 decision at 123 lbs against Emory & Henry, with the Wasps winning the dual 30-8. She would earn another win against Mount Olive, yet again by decision at 5-3. Freshmen Aurora Walters and Lillie Costilla both also competed on the day, though each dropped their competitive matches by pinfall.

The Bobcat win came against Greensboro College, as each side had three forfeits, with FSU winning 16-15 on a coin flip tiebreaker. They lost 46-3 to Mount Olive and 50-0 to King (TN) in their other matchups.

Frostburg's record now stands at 2-10 on the year, as they next travel to East Stoudsburg on Saturday, January 6 at 10 a.m. information and updates will be posted at frostburgsports.com.
