WHEELING, W. Va. – The Frostburg State Men's Wrestling team won first their meet since restarting the program, defeating Wheeling on the road by a final score of 38-13 on Wednesday evening.
Frostburg took every weight class other than 141, 174, and 184, with freshmen William Applegarth, Gavin Bage, Alex Bellarin, Mason Buckler, Gage Heilbrun, and Austen Slaybaugh, along with junior Thierno Diallo all earning their first FSU win. Head Coach Josh Hutchens is also credited with his first win with the Bobcats.
