SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – The Frostburg State Men's Swimming team completed their regular season with a tri-meet sweep of Notre Dame College (145-117) and Baldwin Wallace (171-91) on Saturday afternoon.

Freshman Julian Najarro Sedar had one of the top performances of his debut season as a Bobcat, earning first-place finishes in both the 50-yard freestyle (21.66) and the 50-yard butterfly (23.44), while also coming second in the 100-yard free (48.97), missing out on another win by just 0.3 seconds.

Sophomore Nate Canapp dominated in the distance events, picking up victories in both the 500-yard free (4:55.84) and the 1,000-yard free (10:09.98). Another specialist a pair of key wins was junior Jackson Miller, who swept the 50- and 100-yard backstroke events in 26.20 and 55.80, respectively.

Junior Noah Loper rounded out the FSU top places with a win in the 200-yard free (1:49.61), as he also finished just behind Najarro Sedar in the 100-yard free (49.18). Aiding in the team's performance, sophomore Tave Chanthavong and junior Andy Creelman placed second in both the 50-yard breaststroke (28.68) and the 100-yard fly (53.78), respectively.

With the victories, Frostburg concludes the regular season with a 7-2 record, the most wins for the team since 2017-18, while also going undefeated in the MEC for the first time ever at 5-0, also the most conference wins in a season since at least 2004-05.
