FROSTBURG, Md. - The Frostburg State Volleyball team announced their schedule for the upcoming Fall season, with 32 total matches to be played (22 away, 10 home).
The season begins with a trip to California (Pa.) for the Vulcan Invitational, where the Bobcats will take on CALU, Bloomsburg, and Lake Erie. The opening home game at Bobcat Arena will be held against Pace on August 30. Tournaments follow the next couple of weekends, beginning with the Marauder Clash in Millersville, Pa. against Chestnut Hill, Millersville, Nyack, and West Chester. Next is the Crimson Hawk Classic in Indiana, Pa. where the team will face D'Youville, Roberts Wesleyan, Indianapolis, and IUP. The team returns home on September 13 to face Virginia Union. They then travel north to take on Felician in Rutherford, N.J., followed by Roberts Wesleyan and Saint Rose in Albany, N.Y to close out the non-conference half of the schedule.
Mountain East play starts the second half of the schedule, with road matches against Alderson Broaddus and Wheeling preceding home matches against Notre Dame (Ohio) and West Liberty. Frostburg then travels to Fairmont State before coming home for back-to-back matches against West Virginia Wesleyan and Davis & Elkins, with a road trip to Glenville State closing out the first half of conference play. The Bobcats then have another pair of home games against Concord and Alderson Broaddus, followed by two straight road matches at Charleston (WV) and West Virginia State. The final part of the schedule features home games against Wheeling and Fairmont State either side of road trips to West Libert and NDC.
