BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - The Frostburg State Men's Soccer team was selected to finish in fifth place by the MEC preseason poll, as announced by the league office.
The Bobcats are coming off their first-ever trip to the MEC Tournament last season, having finished in fourth place as one of the most-improved teams in the conference. FSU picked up 36 points in the poll, just three behind West Virginia Wesleyan (39) in fourth and ahead of West Liberty (24), Concord (21), Alderson Broaddus (19) and Wheeling (15).
Frostburg begins their season at home on Sunday, August 28 against Concord at 2 PM.
