BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. - The Mountain East Conference announced its academic honors for the Winter and Spring sport seasons, with athletes named to either the All-MEC Academic Team or the Commissioner's Honor Roll. To earn All-MEC Academic, an athlete must have a GPA above 3.70, while the Commissioner's Honor Roll requires a GPA between 3.25 and 3.69. 

A total of 65 FSU athletes were named to the Academic Team, as Men's Track and Field and Women's Swimming totaled the most athletes honored with eight each. A total of 56 athletes were named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll, with Acrobatics & Tumbling having the most honorees at 12, as the team also had the most overall academic honors of any FSU team with 19 total athletes receiving one of the distinctions.
