KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The Frostburg State Women's Soccer team earned its fourteenth straight United Soccer Coaches Team Ethics & Sportsmanship Award. The award recognizes a total of 193 teams across the country for exhibiting fair play, sporting behavior and adherence to the laws of the game.

Fifteen high school teams and six college teams received the United Soccer Coaches Platinum Team Ethics Award for completing the entire 2021 fall season without receiving either a yellow or red card. Twenty-two high school teams and 17 college teams were recipients of the Gold Award, which is awarded to teams with a percentage of cards ranging from 1-10%.

Frostburg was one of those 17 college teams, having been given just one yellow card and no red cards across 20 games this season.
