Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Honors Even Between Griffins and Bobcats in Draw

GREENSBURG, Pa.- Frostburg Men's Soccer traveled to Seton Hill in a thrilling double overtime tie with the Griffins on Wednesday afternoon.

It was an exciting game despite the 0-0 scoreline, as FSU went back and forth with SHU, with multiple shot attempts coming from senior Daniel Juresic, freshman Abdur-Rahman Neama, and sophomore Bryce Costello. All three fired off two shots, as Costello and Neama both had one shot on goal. Frostburg finished the day with 11 shot attempts in total.

It was a stellar performance from the defense and senior goalkeeper Joel Assal, who stopped multiple strikes from the Griffins, putting up four saves on 13 SHU shots to earn the clean sheet. The Bobcats have not yet allowed a goal this season.

Frostburg stays undefeated with a 1-0-1 record, while the Griffins are now 1-1-1. FSU is back at home to face the Hilltoppers of West Liberty on Saturday, September 11 at 2PM. For more information and updates, visit www.frostburgsports.com
