FROSTBURG, Md. - Frostburg State Field Hockey fell to Limestone 3-2 in their second home game of the 2021 season.
Frostburg opened the contest with a first quarter strike from senior Taylor Hackett to give the Bobcats their first lead of the 2021 season. The Saints of Limestone then responded with an equalizer from Charlotte Walker making it 1-1 right before the half.Â
Out of the half the Saints then scored back to back with tallies from Gwendolyn Lewis and Kelly Diplock making the score 3-1 entering the fourth. Into the fourth quarter the Bobcats freshman Ava Waddell made it a close contest making it 3-2 as the contest was near a close.Â
The Bobcats couldn't find the equalizing tally as the clock expired falling to 0-6, but showed extreme promise for their next contest against East Stroudsburg on Wednesday September 22 at 4:30pm.Â
