PHILIPPI, W. Va.- Frostburg Men's Soccer earned a 2-0 victory over the Battlers of Alderson Broaddus University on Wednesday night.
The game started out hot for FSU, as freshman midfielder Zach Harpel scored his first goal of the season just four minutes into the match. Later in the first half, junior forward Kenny Simms also made his mark with his first goal of the season coming in the 27th minute.
Sophomore midfielder Andre Tenorio and senior forward Malek Shedid both added a shot on goal, sophomore defender Bryce Costello had one shot, and senior goalkeeper Joel Assal continued his fine season with four saves and his fourth straight shutout win.
FSU improves to 3-0-1 while AB falls to a record of 1-3. The Bobcats' next opponent will be Wheeling on the road Sunday, September 19 at 7:30 PM. For more information and updates, visit
