BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - First-year Beverly Braun has been named to the All-MEC Honrable Mention team, as well as the All-MEC Freshman Team, the conference announced Wednesday afternoon.
Braun had a stellar first season in a Bobcat uniform, registering 115 kills on the season and ranking seventh in the MEC with 3.29 kills per set. She registered a season-high 23 kills to go along with 14 digs against Alderson Broaddus on February 16, one of her four double-doubles on the year.
The All-MEC teams are selected by a vote of the league's coaches.
