FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg State department of athletics has announced that Girls in Sports Day will be turning into a virtual challenge this year.
Starting April 1 and ending April 30, there will be a video challenge posted every day for kids to try at home. The kids will be challenging our very own women's athletes here at Frostburg State. Anyone girl between third and eighth grade is able to join, and at the end of the challenge there will be prizes awarded.
The challenge is part of the 35th Annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day, a national observance celebrating the extraordinary achievements of women and girls in sports.
Registration is open and will remain open during the entire challenge. There is not deadline for the kids to register by, as long as they register before completing the challenges.
