PHILLIPI, W. Va.- Frostburg swimming had a fantastic day at the pool with FSU taking first in 21 of the 22 events on the day on the road against Alderson Broaddus.
The women took first in 10 of their 11 events, winning the 400 medley relay, 1000 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 50 freestyle, 400 IM, 100 butterfly, 100 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 500 freestyle, 200 freestyle relay. Frostburg had five different swimmers take first, with freshmen Lydia Nebiolo and Tiernan Taggert earning three victories each.
For the men, they took first in every event swam, the 400 medley relay, 1000 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 50 freestyle, 400 IM, 100 butterfly, 100 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 500 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, and 200 freestyle relay. The team had multiple individuals earn victories, with sophomore Jackson Miller earning three wins and sophomores Noah Loper and Justin Geiszler, along with freshman Nate Canapp taking home two wins.
