Frostburg enters the matchup vs West Virginia Wesleyan this week after a 45-7 road victory over the Alderson Broaddus Battlers in the ninth
week of the season.

West Virginia Wesleyan enters the matchup after losing their matchup last Thursday night against Charleston (WV) on the road, 45-6.

SERIES HISTORY
-Frostburg State leads all-time series: 1-0. The last matchup between these two programs was October 12, 2019 in Buckhannon, W. Va. when the Bobcats took the victory 35-13. Senior Gavin Lavat rushed for 73 yards on 22 carries in the matchup and senior Lincoln Ikwubuo racked up 76 yards on three receptions in the victory.

LAST TIME OUT ON EACH SIDE
- Last time out for Frostburg State was a 45-7 victory on the road at Alderson Broaddus on October 30. After falling behind 7-0 early, FSU responded by posting 45 straight points. Junior Josh Maxwell would rush the ball in for a score from 29 yards out as well within the matchup. Junior Nate Forte would also find the score column with a five yard rush.

While the offense continued to put up points, the defense had a standout performance again and one member of the defense stood out. Redshirt freshman Jeremiah Baxter recorded three interceptions throughout the contest. In addition to the multiple interceptions, Baxter would block a punt and return it for a touchdown in the fourth quarter to cap off his amazing afternoon. The contest suffered due to rainy conditions for most of the afternoon, resulting in 10 total turnovers, five per side. Baxter's three interceptions broke a long standing record in the history books of the program: (3 ints by Ron Wallace at Wesley, 10/12/1996).
