Charleston, WV- Frostburg State Women's Soccer fell to the Golden Eagles 2-0 Sunday afternoon, coming off of their second division title in the past two years.
The Golden Eagles tallied 8 shots in the first half to the Bobcats zero, but Frostburg was still able to enter the half with the score at zero to zero.
The Bobcats then came to life in the second half and ended up taking 5 shots with four of them being on frame. Unfortunately Kaylee Hensley stopped all four, keeping a clean sheet on the evening. The Golden eagles had five shots of their own in the second half with two of them finding their way to the back of the net one from Sydney Cavender 11 minutes into the second and another 25 minutes in from Audrey Miller.Â
Time ran out on the Bobcats after Miller's goal, making the final 2-0 in the loss for the Bobcats. Sophomore Ashley Bilger had four saves out of the six shots on goal throughout the game.

With the loss, Frostburg falls to 11-4-1 on the year, while Charleston improves to 12-4. Frostburg returns to the field Wednesday, November 3 as they are back on the road to take on West Virginia State University at 5:00 p.m. For information and updates stay tuned at frostburgsports.com.
