FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg State swimming program has recently announced the schedule and camp information for its upcoming five-day summer camp that will take place in late June.
The camp (June 22-26) will cost $375 per person and will serve as a training program designed to improve swimmers' mechanical and mental abilities. Swimmers will watch videos on proper stroke technique of all four competitive strokes, then practice with drills and instruction.
This camp is ideal for both young swimmers looking to improve their places at summer club meets and for highly trained swimmers hoping to qualify for a state or zone championship.
Schedule
8:30 am - 9:00 am: Swim Stroke Lecture
9:00 - 11:30 pm: Swim stroke drills in water
11:30 - 12:30 pm: Lunch
12:30 - 1:30 pm: Game / activity
1:30 pm - 2:00 pm: Swim stroke lecture
2:00 pm - 4:30 pm: Swim stroke drills in water
