FAIRMONT, W.Va. - On Tuesday night, the Bobcats lost to the Fairmont State Falcons in a three-set match. Frostburg falls to 11-15 overall 3-11 in the Mountain East Conference while the Falcons advance to 14-14 overall 7-7 in MEC play.

In the beginning of the first set, a kill from sophomore Haley Altemus and senior Bailey Godlove gave the Bobcats a 2-1 lead before an 11-2 Falcon run allowed the host to jump on top 13-3. A Fairmont kill by Rebecca Feeney earned the first set win.

Fairmont fought back eventually going on a 12-3 run to take the lead 16-12. A late 6-1 run by the Bobcats fueled by a service ace from sophomore Hannah Jones and kills from Altemus and Tshitenge wouldn't be enough to force a fourth set as an Amelia Moore kill won the match for the Falcons.
