BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – Frostburg cross-country runner Braxton Clark added on to his outstanding junior campaign by claiming this week's Mountain East Conference Male Runner of the Week.

Clark, who has led the Bobcats in all five meets this season, finished 15^th with a run of 26:37.5 at the Gettysburg Invitational. Clark's efforts helped secure an eighth place finish for Frostburg, the best amongst all Division II squads at the invitational.

Clark and the Bobcats now prepare for this weekend's MEC Championships at the Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, West Virginia. The women's 6k begins at 9:30 a.m., while the men's 8k commences at 10:30 a.m.
