GAME ONE
Senior outfielder Evan Colon played the hero in game one, laying down a bunt to drive in the go-ahead run in the top of the 10th inning.

The Bobcats, who won its fourth-straight game, tallied 11 hits in game one, but used small-ball to manufacture three of their four runs. Two runs scored on sacrifice runs, and the game-winner was brought home with a sacrifice bunt.

Junior lefthander Brady Adam started on the mound in game one for the Bobcats, and rolled through the first four innings without allowing a run and striking out six Seahawks along the way.

St. Mary's (Md.) scored twice in the fifth inning, but left the bases loaded with Adam retiring the final two batters of the frame via strikeout. Adam finished the day with 11 strikeouts in 7.1 innings pitched, allowing three runs on seven hits and five walks. The start marked his fourth double-digit strikeout outing of the season.

The Bobcats responded with a run in the top of the sixth inning. Senior outfielder Kyle Burger drove in senior shortstop Mike Takovich with a sacrifice fly to knot the game at one.

Frostburg seized a 3-1 lead in the top of the eighth inning with Takovich and Burger each driving in another run. Takovich's double scored junior catcher Jason Paredes from first base and Burger's second sacrifice fly scored Takovich two batters later.

St. Mary's tied the ballgame with a run in the bottom of the eighth inning, and both teams went down in order in the ninth.

Paredes opened the 10th inning with a leadoff double, and advanced to third on a base knock by Takovich. With runners at the corners and nobody out, Colon laid down a bunt and Paredes came racing to plate for the go-ahead score.

In the bottom of the 10th, sophomore Mike Livingston worked a 1-2-3 inning to pick up his sixth save of the season. Livingston is tied with Christopher Newport's Joe Burris for the most saves in the CAC, and now is tied with former Bobcat standout Nick Huff for third in program history on the single-season saves list.
