FROSTBURG, Md. – Frostburg State earned its third draw of the fall season on Saturday as the Bobcat women and St. Mary's battled to a 0-0 tie following two overtimes.

Frostburg (2-6-2, 1-0-1) held a slim advantage offensively as it outshot the Seahawks (2-5-3, 1-0-1), 12-10. The Bobcats also had two opportunities to break the tie in the second overtime.
Junior Hailey Turney and sophomore Brooke Shehade each had shots saved inside the opening two minutes of the second extra session. Seahawk keeper Sydney Larkin stopped both shots to keep the game scoreless.
Sophomore Gwen Schemm led Frostburg in shots on the afternoon with three attempts, including two on goal. She had an attempt turned away in the 56
th minute and again at 65:06.
St. Mary's had a chance late in regulation to steal the win from Frostburg. The Seahawks had a corner kick at 86:24 and junior keeper Emily Faust saved a header attempt off the corner from Jenna Pastel.
The Bobcat defense kept St. Mary's from attempting a shot in the first half.
The game was Faust's first start of the season and she finished with three saves in the shutout. Her counterpart, Larkin notched five saves.
Frostburg hosts Mary Washington for another CAC matchup on Wednesday at 7:30 pm.
