ANVILLE, Pa. – The Frostburg State volleyball team rallied to win the final three sets of the match and claim a thrilling five-set victory over Neumann in the Dutchmen Quad Friday night.
Seniors Naya Cheatem, Madelyn Torres and Lindsey Scepura once again led the way for Frostburg (10-5) in the comeback effort.
Cheatem hit a blistering .400 with 21 kills on 45 total attacks. Torres added seven kills and dished out 39 of the Bobcats' 50 assists. Scepura added 27 digs and three assists.
Senior Sabrina Roberts added eight kills and sophomore Ashante Corey-Bey had seven. Sophomore Hannah Brown notched four service aces, while sophomore Cori Smothers had two.
Frostburg hit its stride in the third set with a dominating 25-11 victory. The Bobcats tied the match at two with a 25-20 win in the fourth set and eventually sealed the win, its second in the last three games, with a 15-10 victory in the fifth set.

Frostburg concludes play in the Dutchmen Quad tomorrow with a pair of matches at Sorrentino Gymnasium. The Bobcats open against Misericordia (9-6) at 11:00 a.m. before closing the day against host Lebanon Valley (7-4) at 2:00 p.m.
In other action, Lebanon Valley defeated Misericordia 3-0 Friday night.
