FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg State baseball team found an offensive rhythm as the day drew on and split a Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) doubleheader with Penn State Harrisburg Saturday afternoon at Bob Wells Field.

Game One
The Bobcats dropped the first game of the day to Penn State Harrisburg, 3-2, in 10 innings.
Junior pitcher Greg Schneider went the distance, tossing a complete game in 125 pitches. Schneider racked up 14 strikeouts and allowed just six hits and two earned runs.
Frostburg finished game one with six hits. Junior Jesse Lee finished with two hits while juniors Matt Jeffery, Kyle Burger, Logan Corrigan and Colton Sivic finished with one hit each.
Sivic put the Bobcats up in the bottom of the third with his fourth homer of the season.
Penn State Harrisburg scored single runs in the fourth and sixth innings to take a 2-1 edge. Lee hit a sacrifice fly to left field, scoring junior Kyle Burger and tying the game at two.
The Lions' Chris Iocca delivered the game-winning run with an RBI single up the middle.
Game Two
Frostburg (10-10, 3-5) grabbed a 17-8 victory in game two over Penn State Harrisburg (6-14, 2-4). The Bobcats put up 17 runs on 22 hits and limited the Lions (6-14, 2-4) to just one run through five innings.
Five Bobcats finished game two with multiple hits. Senior Brad Garrant finished the day 5-for-6 at the plate with three RBI. Sivic had four hits in game two, while junior Logan Corrigan had three hits. In total, seven Bobcat players finished the day with multiple hits.
After falling behind 1-0 in the second inning, the Bobcats tied the game in the bottom of the fourth on a single from senior JT Tipton.
Frostburg followed it up with an offensive surge in the next four innings, racking up 16 runs in that stretch.
Garrant gave Frostburg a lead that would not be relinquished in the bottom of the fifth with a two-RBI double to left that gave the Bobcats a 3-1 lead. Sivic plated Garrant just two batters later when he belted a double to right center for a 4-1 lead.
Garrant delivered again in the sixth inning with a single up the middle to score Lee and put the Bobcats up 6-2. Once again, Sivic was able to score Garrant, this time with a double down the right field line, extending the Bobcats edge to 7-2.
Frostburg continued to apply the pressure offensively, scoring the next eight runs of the game, including six runs in the seventh inning.
Junior Daniel Richardson earned the win with four innings of relief work. He finished with four strikeouts and allowed just one earned run.

Frostburg will hit the road tomorrow to face Gallaudet. First pitch from Hoy Field in Washington, D.C. is slated for 1 p.m.
