FROSTBURG, Md. – Scoring contributions from 13 different Bobcats lifted the Frostburg State women's basketball team past York (N.Y.), 84-29, in the Jim Crawley Tournament Friday night at Bobcat Arena.

The victory was the first of the season for the Bobcats.
Frostburg had two players in double-figures, led by junior guard Sharyce Warren, who scored a game-high 15 points on six-of-eight (75%) shooting. Freshman Amanda Emory scored 11 points, going five-of-six from the field.
Emory also added seven rebounds and notched a game-high three blocks, while Warren added a game-high three assists.
Nine different Bobcats contributed at least five points on the evening.
The Bobcats, who held the Cardinals to single-digit point totals in three quarters, outscored York (N.Y) 26-3 in the second, 23-6 in the first, and 20-7 in the third quarter. The fourth quarter was the only quarter that the Cardinals reached a double-digit point total (13).
As a team, the Bobcats shot 41 percent from the field (34-83) and limited the Cardinals to an 11.1 shooting percentage (5-45).
Frostburg began the game on a 10-0 run in the first four minutes of action. Senior guard Kache Fields scored the first two points of the contest, followed by two layups from senior forward Kirsten Rayner. Frostburg capped its run with layups from Emory and sophomore guard Megan Kelly.
The Bobcats also had runs of eight and 14 straight points in the first half.
In the neutral game, Rutgers-Camden defeated Pitt-Bradford, 73-58.
Frostburg will return to the court tomorrow to face Rutgers-Camden in the Jim Crawley Tournament Championship game at 3:00 p.m.
