SALISBURY, Md. – Junior Naya Cheatem had nine kills and junior Madelyn Torres dished out 17 assists, but the Frostburg State women's volleyball team dropped a three-set road match to Salisbury Saturday afternoon.  
 
The loss drops the Bobcats to 11-17 overall and 1-7 in the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC). Salisbury improves to 20-7 and 8-1 in league play.
 
The Sea Gulls won by scores of 25-10, 25-17 and 25-20.
 
Frostburg battled throughout the afternoon, and had a four-point swing in the third set. Frostburg started the four-point swing with a kill from junior Zoe Harris, followed by two attack errors by Salisbury's Katie Stouffer. Cheatem had another kill to tie the set at 10. Torres had assists on both kills.
 
Cheatem's 12 kills came on 22 total attacks for a .273 hitting percentage. She added two digs on the afternoon.
 
Frostburg will conclude its regular-season on the road against Wesley on Sunday, October 30 at 2:00 p.m.
