NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Frostburg State women's soccer overpowered Christopher Newport 1-0 to win its CAC season opener, Saturday afternoon.
The Bobcats (5-5, 1-0) shutout CNU (5-3-1, 0-1) in both teams' Capital Athletic Conference season opener. The FSU defense proved to be stalwart throughout the entire game and senior goalkeeper Paige Gray made six saves on the night.
