FROSTBURG, Md. – The Frostburg State men's soccer team learned Monday afternoon that is has earned the #2 seed in the upcoming 2015 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III South Championship that begins Wednesday afternoon.
 
The Bobcats boast an 11-4-2 overall record and will host Alvernia in the opening round at Bobcat Stadium on Wednesday at 6:30 pm. The Crusaders earned the seventh seed and carry a 7-7-5 overall record into the first-round contest.
 
The Bobcats have earned a spot in the ECAC Tournament in four of the last five seasons.
 
The FSU/AU matchup is one of three games in the opening round on Wednesday. Geneva (12-4-4) earned the third seed and will host #6 Hood (12-8) at 7:00 pm, while #4 Arcadia (11-6-3) will welcome #5 Grove City (11-6-1) to campus at 3:00 pm.
 
Following the opening round, the semifinals and finals will be hosted by top seed Penn State Behrend. The Lions are 16-2-2 and will host the semifinals on Saturday and the championship on Sunday.
