CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Sophomore Devin Colegrove accounted for six points to lead the Frostburg State men’s lacrosse team to a 14-6 victory over DeSales in the opening round of the 2013 ECAC Mid-Atlantic Region Tournament, Wednesday.

The second-seeded Bobcats (12-6) attempted 48 shots, more than 10 in each quarter and won 14-of-23 faceoffs en route to their fourth win in the last five games. Colegrove score a goal in both the first and second quarters as FSU grabbed a 5-2 lead at halftime.
The Bobcats pushed their lead to 9-5 following three quarters of play and they kept their foot on gas in the fourth quarter with a 5-1 scoring advantage.
Colegrove scored the first goal of the final quarter and handed out two assists, while freshman Nick Stailey contributed two goals.
Freshman Spenser Love finished with two goals and two assists and sophomore Spencer Barnett scored once and handed out three assists. Stailey finished with three goals. Junior Billy Lark was responsible for 10 of the squad’s 14 faceoff victories, while classmate Tyler Haines needed to make only six saves for his 12th win.
The seventh-seeded Bulldogs finish their season with an 8-9 overall record. They were led in scoring by James Guerrier, who scored one goal and had two assists. Matt Warnken made 12 saves in the loss.
FSU advances to the semifinals and will face the winner of Centenary/SUNY Canton on Saturday at 3:00 pm. The contest will be played at host and top-seeded Albright College.
