WASHINGTON, Pa. – Sophomore Devin Colegrove and freshman Spenser Love combined to score nine points to help power Frostburg State to a 15-8 win over Washington & Jefferson, Wednesday.

Eleven different players registered a point as the Bobcats won for the second-consecutive game and pushed their record to 6-2 overall.
The game was decided when FSU scored seven-straight goals over parts of the third and fourth quarters. Frostburg clung to a slim 7-6 lead following a pair of third quarter scores from the host Presidents (3-4).
The Bobcats then rattled off seven straight to grab the win, while Colegrove registered all five of his points (two goals & three assists) during the outburst.
W&J, which lost for the third-straight game, rebounded from an early 1-0 hole with four goals and a 4-1 lead late in the first. The Bobcats rebounded a 5-0 run that earned them a 6-4 lead at halftime.
Colegrove led all Bobcat players with five points and he tied for the team-lead with six ground balls. Love finished with three goals and one assist, while Serio had one goal and two assists.
Junior Billy Lark posted a 55.5 win percentage on 10-of-18 faceoffs, while junior Tyler Haines needed just seven saves for the win.
W&J was led in scoring by Joseph Eck with three goals and one assist. Conor Crowe stopped 19 saves in the loss before being relieved by Jacob Succop with five minutes left.
The Bobcats held a 52-21 advantage in shots, their third highest shot total of the spring campaign. FSU also led 43-26 in ground balls and a 14-11 lead in faceoffs. The visitors were a perfect 4-of-4 on extra-man opportunities.
The Bobcats host seventh ranked Salisbury this Saturday at Bobcat Stadium at 1:00 pm.
