FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Frostburg State volleyball team had its season come to end on Tuesday evening with a 3-0 setback at Mary Washington in the CAC Tournament first round.
The sixth-seeded Bobcats cap their season with a 7-27 overall record following the loss to the third-seeded Eagles (17-11). UMW posted identical 25-11 wins in the first two sets, before closing out the match with a 25-9 win in the third game.
Sophomore Aimee Petrides led the way offensively with six kills, to go along with nine digs. Senior Jamie Frank contributed nine digs, while sophomore Caitlyn Collins registered nine assists and four digs.
