CRESSON, Pa. – Junior Jabari Kamau posted a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds, but the Frostburg State men's basketball team suffered a 98-76 road loss at Mt. Aloysius, Thursday evening.

The Bobcats slipped to 0-3 on the season, while the Mounties improved to 2-1 behind a win in their first home game of the season.
Mt. Aloysius had three of five starters in double figures and it jumped out to a 51-35 lead after the first half. MTA used a 12-0 run just over five minutes into the game and a 15-of-20 effort from the free throw line to outpace the Bobcats in the first stanza.
The Mounties led by as many as 20 points, 46-26, in the first before settling on a 16-point cushion at the break. Mt. Aloysius pushed its lead to 30 points on two occasions in the second half, the final time with 5:26 to play.
FSU closed the game with a 16-8 scoring advantage to bring the final count to 98-76.
Kamau led all Bobcat players with his 23-point, 11-rebound performance. He was the lone starter to score in double figures, but sophomore Kurt Gangler posted 19 points off the bench. Sophomore starter Nick Smoot contributed eight points.
Shawn Greenfield led both teams with 28 points to accent three Mt. Aloysius starters in double figures. Dillon Bender made four three-pointers and finished with 21 points, while Davario Barksdale added 13.
Frostburg returns to action on Saturday when it hosts No. 25 Virginia Wesleyan at 1:00 pm.
