HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Frostburg State women's basketball team surrendered an early first half lead and couldn't recover in a 111-58 loss to non-conference opponent Juniata, in the Bobcats first road trip of the season, Wednesday night.

The Bobcats (0-3) faced a scoring draught early in the contest, scoring just six points 11 minutes into game play. While FSU struggled to find their rhythm in an away gym, Juniata (3-0) took advantage of their home-court advantage to grab a double-digit lead that they wouldn't relinquish through the duration of the game.
FSU ended their stint scoring 14 points in just three minutes late in the first half, but the hosts' lead was too much to overcome throughout the contest.
The Eagles had no problem putting points on the board as they shot 59.4% from the field and 46.7% from behind the arc.
Sophomore Courtney Young had a solid first half performance contributing seven points and five rebounds. The forward went a perfect 2-for-2 from the field, including a three-ball.
Junior Simone Wise emerged as the Bobcats' scoring leader for the game, posting 11 points. Young finished with nine points and nine rebounds with an assist, a block and a steal. Junior Bobbi McDonald contributed seven points, complemented by three rebounds, a block and two steals.
Juniata recorded five players with double-digits including a 27-point performance from Kelsey Livoti. Paige Dennison was the roster's second-highest scorer with 20 points while notching eight assists.
The Bobcats look to get back on track as they host Pitt-Greensburg this Saturday (Nov. 23) for a 3:00 pm start.
