ARLINGTON, Va. – The Frostburg State men's soccer team scored four goals in the final 17 minutes, including a hat-trick from senior Chris Jones, to rally from three goals down to defeat Marymount 4-3, Wednesday.

The Bobcats (9-2, 3-1 CAC) trailed 1-0 early as senior Onar Yousefi scored on a free kick in the 12
th minute. Â Yousefi added another free-kick goal at 30:24 to put the Saints up 2-0.
Marymount took a commanding 3-0 lead in the 57
th minute off a goal from junior Jorge Alvarado. This put the Bobcats in a big hole, but Jones along with fellow senior Alex Brainard were able to pull the team all the way back.
Brainard (73:41) got Frostburg on the board with his second goal of the season off an assist from senior Jason Bennett.
Jones would then score three goals in a span of three and a half minutes.
His first goal came at 80:02 from freshman Jonah Mohre to pull the Bobcats within one at 3-2. Jones then added his second of the night (82:50) to tie the match at three apiece. Finally at 83:33, Jones put FSU up 4-3 and completed the comeback with his third goal of the night and sixth of the season.
Frostburg was able to hold on to the lead to win its third-consecutive CAC match, as well as third overall.
The Bobcats outshot the Saints 14-7 for the match, and held a 6-2 edge in corners. Freshman goalkeeper Hassan Mostafa made three saves on the night for Frostburg, while sophomore Kurt Michaels made eight saves for Marymount.
The Frostburg men's soccer team returns to CAC action Saturday when it travesl to face Christopher Newport at 2:00 pm.
