FROSTBURG, Md. - Sixteen different players scored for the Frostburg State men's basketball program as it capped its regular season in a big way with its second-consecutive 100-point game in a 102-86 defeat of D'Youville in the season finale for both squads, Saturday afternoon on 'Hoops for Haiti' day.

The Bobcats (16-8, 13-7) reached 100 points for the fourth time this year and head into the AMCC Tournament this Tuesday evening on a four-game winning streak.
Frostburg State trailed the Spartans (5-19, 3-16) early in the contest but blew the game open with a 16-3 run that covered over three and half minutes in the middle of the period for a 31-17 lead. Junior
Blake Walker (Frostburg, Md./Northern Garrett) hit a layup at 6:38 as the Bobcats assumed a 17-point lead, 38-21.
DYC brought the score back to single digits (44-35) with 3:29 left but the hosts closed out the half on a 16-7 run for an 18-point half time advantage (60-42).
Frostburg used the first 6:24 of the second half to open a 26-point lead, its largest lead of the afternoon (77-51). D'Youville had one last push late in the game, drawing the deficit to 13 points (97-84) at 2:07, but FSU extended it back to 18 with late free throws before winning by 16.

Brian Anderson (Perry Hall, Md./Eastern Tech) scored a team-high 22 points followed by classmate
Steven Ogg (Arlington, Va./Yorktown) with 20. Junior
Jamal Bracken (Baltimore, Md./Eastern Tech) scored 10 points off the bench. As a team, FSU made 37-of-74 baskets for an even 50.0 percent from the field. FSU also outrebounded the Spartans 57-28.
Lionel Ellis led D'Youville with 29 points while Danny Glover scored 20 points, backed by six three-pointers.
Frostburg hosts Mt. Aloysius on Tuesday in the AMCC Tournament opening round at 8:00 pm.
