FROSTBURG, Md. - Seven players scored in double figures and Frostburg State recorded its fourth highest point total in school history in a single game with a 122-99 defeat of Mt. Aloysius in AMCC men's basketball action on senior night, Wednesday.

The victory handed the Bobcats (15-9, 12-5) their third-straight win and six in their last seven while the Mounties (8-16, 5-12) dropped their fourth-straight contest and seventh of their last eight.
FSU blew the game open just past the midway point in the first half with a 14-5 run that handed it a 15-point cushion (46-31). Frostburg State, which had its second-best shooting effort of the season (54.4%), continued the pressure in the second half and opened a pair of 26-point leads before winning by 23.
The Bobcats, which last scored 120-plus points in a game on January 25, 2005 with a 128-114 defeat of the Mounties, recorded the second highest number of field goals in a game in school history (49), tied for second most in assists (32) and blocks (7) and tied for fourth most in three-pointers (11).
FSU, which led 72-30 in bench points, received three double-digit scoring performances from three of its five starting seniors. Senior
Keith Hazel (Weirton, W.Va./Weir) led with a game-high 21 points on 7-of-14 shooting. Classmate
Carter Simmons (Annapolis, Md./Southern), who has missed the last three games with an ankle injury, finished with a career-high 19 points on a near perfect 9-of-10 shooting (90.0%) while fellow senior
Juan Wansley (Odenton, Md./Arundel) added 10 points.

Nick Sefcik (Shady Grove, Md./Damascus) and sophomore
Steven Ogg (Arlington, Va./Yorktown) each added 12 points off the bench. Sefick has now scored in double figures in four-straight games and eight of the last nine. Sophomores
Brian Anderson (Perry Hall, Md./Eastern Tech) and Busha Koffa (Germantown, Md./Seneca Valley) rounded out the list with 11 points.
FSU finished 49-of-90 (54.4%) from the floor out outpaced Mt. Aloysius in rebounds (55-42), assists (32-13) and three-pointers (11-8).
Dan Conway netted a game-high 27 points, including 12-of-17 from the foul line, in the losing effort for the Mounties. Harold Clark added 19 points and Joey Stephenson scored 14 to round out the top three scorers for MTA.
The game was close for the first seven minutes of action until the Bobcats used a small 8-0 surge to break a 20-20 deadlock and assume the lead for good. FSU later collected the 14-5 run to further its lead (46-31) before leading 62-47 at the break.
Frostburg State wasted little time in the second half as it used a 12-2 spurt to open the period and take a 25-point advantage (74-46) just two and half minutes into action. FSU later collected a pair of 26-point leads just before the midway point of the second period, but the Mounties refused to go away narrowing the gap to 16 points on two occassions. However, Frostburg State pushed the lead back to 25 (122-97) before claiming the victory.
The Bobcats travel to La Roche this Saturday when they conclude their regular season at 3:00 pm.
