BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Frostburg State women's soccer team shutout Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent D'Youville 7-0, Saturday. Junior Lauren Russell (Waldorf, Md./Westlake) and freshman Amanda Wharton (Mt. Airy, Md./South Carroll) each had a hat trick in the win.

The shutout for the Bobcats (12-3, 6-1) is their 10th of the season and third against an AMCC opponent.

Sophomore Cassie Donahue (Cumberland, Md./Fort Hill) netted a goal of her own.

Sophomore Kristin Prochniak (Westminster, Md./Winters Mill) started in goal for the Bobcats and shared the shutout with freshman Jessica Flewellyn (Arnold, Md./Broadneck).

FSU returns to the field on October 21 at Bobcat Stadium as it takes on AMCC opponent La Roche at 6:00 pm.
