The Frostburg State pressure was too much in the second half as junior

Franklin & Marshall appeared to come alive and put its own pressure on the FSU defense but all momentum shifted to the FSU side when the Diplomats scored an own goal in the 79th minute. The ball was passed back to Zamek who misplayed it and watched it trickle over the endline for the game's second goal.
Frostburg State, which led 15-6 in shots, put the contest away around eight minutes later when a crossing pass from junior
Adam Gracia (Rockville, Md./Wootton) was poked home by sophomore
Andres Vega (Potomac, Md./Wootton) for a 3-0 lead.
Bobcat keeper
Jay Herford (Crofton, Md./South River) needed just two saves to pick up his fifth win and third shutout of the season.
