LEWISBURG, Pa. - In split squad action, junior Brian Leiter (New Windsor, Md./Francis Scott Key) led part of the Frostburg State men's and women's track & field teams running a NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time at the Bison Open this weekend.

Leiter captured third place in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 3:53.23. He ran a NCAA Division III provisional time in the event, as well as qualified for ECAC Championships.
In the 10,000-meter run, both junior Jennifer Patton (Barton, Md./Westmar) and sophomore Christina Aumand (Chesapeake Beach, Md./Huntingtown) qualified for the ECAC Championships. Patton placed 18th (39:07.45) while Aumand finshed in 25th place (40:45.59).
Freshman Anne Patron (Baltimore, Md./Dulany) took 25th place (18:46.45) in the 5,000-meter run as qualifiying for ECAC Championships.
Sophomore Gwen Massey (Thorofare, N.J./West Deptford) finished 23rd in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:21.28.
FSU returns to the track on April 19 at the Mason-Dixon Invitational at 9:00 am in Gettysburg, Pa.
